Readings in the Gospel of Luke
These readings provide a look at Jesus through Luke's eyes. Luke is often called the gospel of compassion. It is the synoptic gospel most sensitive to women. The references marked with an asterisk
"*" (including portions of passages in parentheses) are found only in the Gospel of Luke. Most of the passages that are unique to Luke are included below. All references are from the common
versions. (I.V. versification is sometimes different.) In a few minutes a day, you can read these passages in four or five weeks.
