Back in the early 1960's, a lad in his early teens was riding in a car with A. W. Sheehy, one of the travelling ministers of the church. The teen asked the minister what would be some good Bible passages to read. As
he drove along, the minister began listing some chapters off the top of his head. The teen grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down the list. Here it is:

The teenager is now of the the travelling ministers of the church and the webmaster of this site. It is still a pretty good chapter list for someone who wants to get started reading the Bible.
